oh abby's here now. the important context that initially when abby first appeared tim did a google search for "punk girl" and ripped off her design whole sale, and had to apologise for it

Lever Action Halberd

The primary weapon of the Walkure is a hybrid beam halberd/laser blaster. In its initial state it resembles a mecha sized, slightly tech-y version of a classic sawed off Winchester Model 1887 shotgun. You know how Arnie reloads the shotgun in Terminator 2 by spinning it around? My idea is that if you spin the rifle around the gun converts into beam halberd form, extending beam blades out from above and below the shape of the shotgun, with the shotgun transforming into the halberd's handle grip. Classic Gundam or Star Wars style beam weapon, glowing energy blade, probably yellow in colour.

Then attached is a gif of Arnold in Terminator 2 reloading the shotgun by spinning it around while riding on his motorbike

the actual writing involved was incredibly rough, near caricature stuff, but it is still unbelievable just in principle that Gunvolt featured a textually bigender character who used xe/xem pronouns back in 2014

Fido Dido was inspired by a desire to express a philosophy I shared with my partner at the time, Sue Rose. It was the eighties and NYC was thriving, pre Aids and a fabulous club scene we participated in. Art met commerce, artists met professionals, gay met straight. We said of Fido that it was “an exclusive club that anyone could join.”

"the trembling right hand" finished running in shonen jump+ today and i will miss it very much. its about a manga artist who realises his writer is killing people to write his scripts. it's one of the stupidest thrillers i've ever read and i supremely recommend you read it too
