My Brazilian Portuguese translation of Thousand Year Vampire, published in Brazil by Tria Editora, is fucking killing it at the crowdfund! The initial target was 10k BRL. There were only stretch goals up to 30k. Really happy to see how many other folks wanted this one. #TTRPG #translation

My #arnoldstrongmanclassic 2026 prediction features some optimism on behalf of my favorites (Hatton and Licis), and it still doesn't knock Hooper off the top spot. This prediction has Martins in top shape and Hooper zeroing stones. Holy shit.
I also got to make this sort of insane improvement with the one sandbag I got at about the time when my baby was born. Going to see how all the sandbag and calisthenics carry over to barbell shortly, just for funsies as usual

23. Bone Tomahawk action horror western, gnarly as fuck, stylish, not unproblematic but a fun ride with memorable characters (and great dialogue!)
22. His House Refugee couple from Sudan having a very bad time in England, on top of a supernatural evil lurking in their new house. Wunmi Mosaku, as usual, fucking killing it here
21. Dark Water The original Japanese one specifically. Extremely fucking creepy, and also very moving. I think about this one often.
20. Incantation Taiwanese folk horror found footage with a twist One of my all-time favorites, the rotten tomatoes score of 77% is lower than it should be, in my opinion
19. The Night House one of the most unique horrors I have ever seen, amazing lead performance, genuinely creepy
18. Coming Home In The Dark Horror-adjacent thriller from NZ that will get under your skin more than most actual horror movies. This one hits hard and stays with you. Killer performances, too.
17. Exhuma Korean movie, supernatural horror steeped in history and religion. I do think it falls off near the end, but it's mostly awesome and really unforgettable.
16. The Vigil Simple, easy job for a cash-strapped and trauma-ridden man who, as much as he tries, can't fully extricate himself from the Orthodox Jewish community: watch over a dead man for the night. Surely, everything will be fine.
15. The Devil's Candy Haunting/serial killer flick, metal as fuck, super well done same director as The Loved Ones
14. The Call Korean horror/thriller, more fun than I expected it to be going in blind. Time stuff!
13. Raw One of those hard to watch French ones. Shocking "cinema of the body" stuff held together by great writing.
12. Noroi Japanese folk-horror, found footage mockumentary. Incredibly weird and creepy. Big thumbs up.
11. Huesera: The Bone Woman One of my recent favorites. Mexican movie, has a lot of depth to the story and some crazy memorable moments.
10. The Night Eats Ther World I have consumed *a lot* of zombie media in my life, and I have become increasingly picky as time goes by. This one hits the spot, though. Real fresh take
9. You'll Never Find Me one location, two characters, endless tension, go in blind
8. Impetigore Indonesian folk horror, still my favorite thing by Joko Anwar. Super weird, pulls no punches.
7. The Loved Ones An unpredictable, slick Australian slasher, by the same dude who made The Devil's Candy.
