Someone was happy the temps and humidity have come down and she could get out and do some hiking.
My Freida after licking my cottage cheese cup. She does so well cleaning it, I always tell her I'm sending the container back to the mfg so they can reuse it. I don't think she gets the joke.
Freida the Diva and I went on a 5 mile hike today at the Ohio Hanging Rock trail. It's a tough hike but the rocks are worth it.
I just got back from my first long trip. Two weeks in Florida. I've missed the big king size bed.
In 2016 I visited my aunt & found out she was leaning towards voting for Trump. This week I'm back in the area and visited again. She showed me the inside lid of her mailbox. She told me Jan 6th was the breaking point for her. She can't have political messages in her retirement community displayed.
Spent the afternoon with 70+ temperatures at the nearby state park with my little buddy. We got over 4 miles in. She thought it was much more fun than our usual 2 mile walk at home.
Got our rescue Freida a little over a year ago. The shelter said she was a border collie mix. Had a DNA test done and found out today that she is a Huskimo. Majority Siberian Husky and American Eskimo dog with about 15% Border Collie. That explains her love of this snow and cold!
I actually ordered this book when he won the first time. I guess no one ever read it to him.

Out for an Easter morning hike with the fam. I turned 66 yesterday and I'm 8 weeks out from open heart surgery. I'm thankful I can still do this stuff.
5 days ago I had open heart surgery. My family dr. talked me into doing a coronary calcium test which led eventually to my surgery. I felt I had no heart symptoms but I was seriously blocked. $100 out of pocket test might save your life. I have a great family doctor.
I'm working on learning Spanish because I like the language and I think it's a good thing to be bilingual. Watching Spanish language movies is suppose to help and while watching "No Manches Frida 2" there was this brief scene. Does that not look like you know who?
