Ramblings about Dwarf Fortress, Doctor Who, Tolkien, roguelikes, and other nonsense. He/him
I give you the Clock King, aka William Tockman. Nominative Determinism in the DC universe is WILD
I have this exact lineup. They understand the first part well, but I don't think I've seen either one even get mad at the other, let alone raise a paw. Never had two cats that get along so well.
If and when they write my obituary, I'd hope they'd bother to actually decide how I died. But then it's Rod Liddle, so no-one probably cares.
Had a friend back then who had a Video 2000, a format neither VHS or Betamax, and I never heard of anyone else owning one. Now those, you COULD flip over like a cassette tape
Remember in the 50s as well, smoking wasn't bad for you, it was GOOD for you! Cigarettes were full of vitamins and endorsed by your doctor! Refresh your T-Zone!
And if you do the Indiana Jones-style dotted line along the map... well, I honestly don't think he was trying THAT hard to get home
Huh, that's quite a change in Nethack 5.0.0 - "Archeologists can instantly decipher the identity of scrolls that are not blank paper if they pick them up or wish for them while they are not blind"
I can only aspire to this level of being unconcerned with the state of the world today
If I were up on that scaffold, the urge to do some Fawlty Towers-style letter rearranging would be irresistible
Browsing through AMC+, given they have NuWho on there and we already have a subscription, and... As opposed to what, exactly? The Vampire Lestat in daylight? I don't think that's got legs
"Discovered something I call 'thinking', has anyone else come across this?"
Huh, that first one's new. I'm not even sure what that IS in terms of Nethack
Finally got to see Backrooms tonight, after the last theater having a water main break on the preview night. I mean, I'm a big Backrooms fan, and Kane Parsons' youtube stuff in particular, so I was never going to /not/ like this. But even then, it was far better than I expected it to be.
