Tried my hand at an unboxing video of the promo box for "The Vampire Lestat" from @annerice.amc.com. This whole situation excited me to the extent that I feel like I need to go lie down.
Thank you so much to @annerice.amc.com for this amazing promo box for “The Vampire Lestat!” This is the coolest!
But being able to share this trip with my dog, Dracula, was the cherry on top of this trip, which I’m sure I’ll be writing about. She stayed in her first hotel and saw her first mountains, which she could not have cared less about.
I also went to Disneyland, indulging in the thick nerd streak within me that makes me still love big budget films just as much as obscure indies.
I also paid a visit to my high school (the kids on campus loved seeing this pose) and the record store I haunted, Mad Platter, which is now just a vacant boarded up place to leave my gum, and a message.
While in Riverside, I visited one of my oldest friends, Matt, who co-owns Penrose Records and was close friends with Howie Pyro, whose grave we visited at Hollywood Forever, along with a few others.
Wish I could tell high school me that I just followed the vampire Lestat on Spotify.
Annual swamp party for Dracula’s 7th birthday. Not pictured: Baby turtles and the goose that made her want to go home.
Braved the cold to go see Jodie Foster speak French and I’m the only one in the theater. What’s everyone else seeing? “Melania?”
Merry Christmas to the internet! Hope everyone else has wrapping paper stuck to their tongue as well!
Minutes out of watching Wicked in IMAX and am afraid to talk for fear of bursting into song. And yeah, I bought the damn bucket too. And what?
Beautiful night of remembrance for Anne Rice at the Orpheum tonight, complete with a performance by Irma Thomas and touching stories from Christopher Rice. I’ll never forget it.
Every month Criterion reveals a new batch of releases and every month, this isn't one of them.
