quadruped preds (or quadrupreds, if you will) are probably extremely hot because being on all fours like that is inherently an animalistic (and thus loosely monstrous) trait. in that sense, it enhances anything the pred does. sleeping, fucking, eating.

when a character is bipedal it still is somewhat connected to the implication of anthropomorphism. it makes it seem more "this is a creature that can't be reasoned with."

it's hot to be pinned down under a heavy quadrupedal monster and have your brains fucked out, because the shape of the body, the most visible aspect of its anatomy, is inherently foreign. distinct. unusual. it's a level of passion and intensity that a bipedal creature can't really match.

thus we come to eating. when a character is bipedal it still is somewhat connected to the implication of anthropomorphism. you interpret it through a humanlike lens. a quad character just /is/.

not only does a quadrupred probably have a stronger hunger, but when that urge is satisfied, it's so visible. this massive, swollen stomach sloshing between four legs. the entire creature is walking differently and it's immediately obvious as to why. you hear its stomach juices sloshing, you feel the heat emanating, you might even see the bulge of an arm or leg in there that hasn't been rendered down yet.
