they can’t be returned to the wild since they don’t know how to monkey. and we can’t teach them either! by that, i mean, find food & shelter & protect itself from predators! so we give them a happy home, the best care anywhere; advocate for these little darlings and their brethren in the wild 😍🐒🐵🥰

it’s been so hot and muggy nobody wanted to play. when i got home in the evening, it was too dang hot to sit out on the porch like i usually do so i plopped on the couch and refilled the pillbox

friday was a hot, muggy, rainy day so not much happening at work. blah….

wednesday was a scruffy day. and when i got home from work. i found that my HVAC in the basement had sprung a leak. so im trying a home remedy - plumbers tape and then electrical tape. 🤞

saturday was monthly gaymernight. i made hotdog and bacon bites for da bearz with mixed results. i think i used the wrong pastry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still yummy

on tuesday, i decided to skip the “Revenge of the Fifth” and “Sinkhole of Mayo” bits, but who could pass up #WorldJockstrapDay? 🤪🤪🤪

saturday was #WorldPenguinDay and i got to spend a few hours with our wonderful birds! 😍

we must have gotten a driver in a bad mood friday. ALL of the bins were strewn down the street with none of them upright! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #fridaysarealwaystrashday

wednesdays with the swamp monkeys

on tuesday, i was passing by the upper part of the Sea Lion pool and caught one in a rare moment of repose. just like us, they cant@be “on” constantly…we all need a break from time to time

on monday i was finally able to get those weeds, vines and baby maple trees up front, chopped up and put in bins for a wednesday pickup 🤞

the best part about opening on a sunday is you get to see a side of the animals that folks don’t usually get to 🤔

the evening was spent at game night hosted by my woofy buddy 😍

saturday was a free day but no rest for the wicked. weather was good to hack down the maples and other weird little trees, vines and stuff that had taken over the raised flower beds in the backyard. still gotta cut ‘em up & figure out how i’m gonna get rid of ‘em, but the big work is done. maybe…
