First bake using Coastal Queen "Migration" all-purpose flour, a roller milled soft bread flour
Finished my first new recipe since completing my book, this one for a future issue of Cake Zine: panade au chocolat, a dessert version of my favorite use for old bread. It's midway in texture between a bread pudding and pot de crème, and as delicious as it is unphotographable.
I also got to meet my wonderful editor Claire Yee in person for the first time after two years of working together. She showed me proofs of the cover they are still fiddling with.
Yesterday I got to visit Ten Speed Press world HQ and look what I found
