Your Daily Stella: an epic Battle for the Stick between Stella and Jasmine, and later Rocco; and it's Stella's birthday,* she's three. * = I don't know the actual date, but she was born in late July, so today was an easy one for me to remember
Your Daily Stella: Jude photobombing the video on a very hot Texas morning
Your Daily Stella: France v. Spain can't compete with whatever is going on outside
We encountered this bad boy on the trail today, a copperhead. It was crossing the trail ahead of Stella and me. We waited until it was off the trail, which is when I got this picture.
Your Daily Stella: Battle of the Titans Stella and Rocco vying for possession of a prized tennis ball while Jasmine and Jude look on (I think they have Kalshi wagers on the outcome)
Your Daily Stella: a surprise visitor to the dog park this morning, taunting the morning crew through the fence; this was one of several appearances
Your Daily Stella: She was the goodest of girls today. On the way to the park, we walked right past "Catman," an elderly gentleman who walks his cat on a leash. Stella was curious, but did not react. Reward: extra time at the park and a peanut butter cookie when we got home
Your Daily Stella: our girl showcasing her new camouflage outfit (luckily, a visit to the spa for bath and nail trim was already scheduled)
Your Daily Stella: The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (Not really. She's with her bud Finn, and Ember (tail and leg sticking out from behind the sign) just arrived in the park; the pair are waiting by the gate for Ember and her human to come over to their side.)
Your Daily Stella: she spotted her first armadillo (not pictured; it had scampered into the brush by the time I got my phone out)
Your Daily Stella: modeling her snazzy new collar; there is also a leash to match
Your Daily Stella: modeling her cooling vest for those Texas Summer days (seems to work, although the water evaporates too quickly)
Your Daily Stella: too hot to run today, but one can always chew on a ball
The Von Trapp Family Singers have announced that they will be performing at the Freedom 250 Concert, but they will be sneaking out the back before their encore
Your Daily Stella: the results of too much fun at the park this morning
Your Daily Stella: there's nothing better than rolling in the dirt with a ball
Your Daily Stella: Every morning, like clockwork, at precisely 8:25 Stella comes into my office to tell me that its time to go to the park; today she evidently had scheduled a playdate with Pecan for that time (this was followed by much rolling in the dirt, necessitating the dreaded bath afterward)
You're trapped in the last TV show you watched, where are you? I've been catching up on "For All Mankind"
