There we go. Less of a gaping maw now. Not my best mending work, but the roughness of this beast has now become part of his charm
Found a first use for those acrylic markers: zhuzhing up my suitcase, which is well past its use by date and has a broken zipper on the front flap
Couldn't sleep last night so I got up to draw what I remembered of how the water looked off Saona. Definitely better than my last attempt at the ocean.
I was going through my Drive, collecting all the materials I created for this class to hand off to its new teacher (🥲), and I found this poem I wrote as a model: the story of the three little pigs from the perspective of the straw. Apparently I was having some Feelings about teaching that day 😭
Happy Caturday from Patches (and her favorite licky mat, the bonus background dog)
I was just quick enough to catch this lizard friend in the planter this morning.
How it started/ How it's going, Learn to Draw edition: Currently working on drawing faces. Feeling good that this one only took me about twenty minutes. Some things are becoming more automatic.
3 1/2 stars for being thematically incoherent. It wants to be a meditation on love and loss so badly but just can't quite hold that together with being, you know, a murder mystery comedy. A perfectly fine way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
This feels like a classic non-statement. No earthly person did anything wrong. Nothing bad happened. Nothing bad is happening and everything is still fine.
now googling occupational diseases, this is going to take over my brain :) like these are just one organ
Apropros of nothing whatsoever, I drew some grapes, because I needed to just draw something, and a bunch of little spheres sounded relaxing. Please enjoy responsibly.
#VisibleMending accomplished. The corner of the sheet got clawed because Princess, bless her, preferred the mattress to the scratch pad. The speed weave loom helped this along quite a bit.
The showtime for my 6:00 theater ticket was moved to 6:40. Then while I was eating an unplanned dinner, they moved it to 7:00. I may not get home until midnight at this rate. Anyway, this gives me time to share that on my walk here, I saw this man carrying an enormous duck. Welcome to the DR!
Also I personally drew this one to demonstrate why I ban anything but the boring 2D pie charts in their reports
This is who runs this account (okay not actually, but when I was younger I was a dead ringer)
