Barely holding herself in check

a fairy named Strawberry is attempting to compose her thoughts upon meeting an ancient wish-granting elder grub in the magical grub forest. Image depicts a fairy maiden in a kind of bikini perhaps made from green leaves, she has blue (or purple, I'm colour blind) hair, orange whiskers and tufty orange ears (or antennae) and large delicate orange wings.
Her eyes are closed and her hands are clasped in front of her mouth in a praying motion. You just know that nothing random or chaotic is going to happen next that will get in the way of her wish.

Sanders and Gard(e)ner in one feed

A screenshot of a facebook feed with a post by Treadwells Bool Shop depicting a book about Alex Sanders, a pioneer of modern witchcraft, above a post by Cats With Jobs. The Cats With Jobs post reads "Expert Gardener" - which is funny to me because Gerald Gardner (one e) was another pioneer of early modern witchcraft in the UK.

I'm also really fond of his 1895 lithograph entitled "I am too hot to mother my tiny goblin child."

Edvard Munch's Madonna, an 1895 lithograph printed in black, hand-colored with red, yellow and green watercolor on gray cardboard turned green.

The image depicts a beautiful young woman, her head titled back, hands in shadow, but presumably running through her long black hair. In the bottom left corner of the frame is a tiny fetus child with a large heavy misshapen head, arms crossed over its chest, legs drawn up to its middle.

Oh I was thinking of something like this:

The aim of the game was to bounce a ball back and forth between your paddle and that of your opponent, and try to score by bouncing the ball off one of the walls in an unpredictable manner. In this way it is more like air hockey than tennis.

There's a bunch of scholars around a pool of wax

a person who was clearly once a scholar of some sort, dressed in archaic robes. They have been covered in molten wax to the point that rivulets of it run down their body. Atop their head is the burning stub of a candle. In its hand it holds a brass candalabra in the shape of a knife or short blade, with two short, lit, candles, on either side of the cross piece.
