Winnipeg will play four preseason games next season, starting in Edmonton on September 19. The Jets will have two home preseason games — one against Colorado and one against Edmonton ⤵️

No non-contact jerseys to be seen at today's #NHLJets morning skate. Colin Miller and Gustav Nyquist are each in regular jerseys, while Elias Salomonsson and Morgan Barron are absent (injured.) Connor Hellebuyck the projected starter against Philadelphia.

Part of what I've done in going game-by-game for each team is look at strength of schedule. I'm bullish of L.A.'s end-of-season because they play just one playoff team in their next eight games. If they're not up to this challenge then WC2 never truly belonged to them:
The difference is that my post was not even "a bit" disingenuous, whereas the Jets do have "some" control over their destiny.

A helpful episode of "Professor Puck" just explained PWHL history and basics to us. As a non-PWHL-coverer, I realized that this game has playoff implications: Top four teams make it, Ottawa is three points behind Toronto for fourth with a game in hand. A regulation win is 3PTS.
As close as the #NHLJets get? The beginning of fresh magic? Or something mushier and more middling. What say you, Jets fans? (Note: Seattle is playing Ottawa and San Jose is playing the Islanders right now)
