Aaron Gordon spent yesterday at doggie daycare (they took pic of him). He played all day w/ another Rottie named “Latch” (swam together, hung out in sprinklers together, even napped together). After losing our girl Trav, love how doggie daycare visits bring him happiness. #Rottweiler #DogsOfBluesky

Hub before and after getting his hair cut (his hair grows FAST and thick). L: Partway through haircut. R: Shorn. In 3 weeks, he’ll look like Eraserhead (not kidding). Yes, we’re jealous.

The spot Aaron Gordon's standing in is the exact same place Traveller used to stand while I cooked. AG gets an occasional snack & stays still (just as she did) so I don’t trip over him as I work. Dogs are amazing ❤️ They know. #Rottweiler #DogsOfBluesky

Posted menu on the tiny “Drive By Pie” stop in small Colorado mountain town. Prices are high, but I’d noticed grocery items in general were much more expensive up there. I’m curious about “Green Chili Apple Pie” (never heard of that before) and then there’s the “All Cream Pies $500” 😅

Thought I heard cat knocking over something heavy, again and again. No, it was hail! 93° F...and it started raining chonky hail. Hub & I ran outside, put chairs over some flowers. Hail’s passed now. Pretty crazy.

Kinda like our cat Bootsy. He eats prescribed kidney diet cat food (not cheap), fishes out tiny food bits (except carrots, which he loves), and then drinks the gravy. We’re always cleaning up those little food bits he so meticulously spits out. Our fastidious eater, Hercule Poirot.

Our cat Bootsy did well w/ fireworks but dog Aaron Gordon barked & howled at one point (we live within “hearing distance” of fireworks at Coors Field Denver). Took AG to basement, gave him a gabapentin & he calmed down, slept well. We’re ready for fireworks tonight, too, sigh. #Dogs&CatsofBluesky

Fireworks will start tonight in our neighborhood. Every 4th of July weekend, we stay home, close windows & curtains at night & have A/C on (minimizes noise), play soothing music or a calming YouTube video for the dogs (like images of the rainforest). Cat couldn’t care less about the videos LOL.
