Went to get some lab work done today and apparently the lab techs have my sense of humor.
Apparently, my backyard is a quality salad bar. This neighbor has stopped by more than once in the past week or so. I'm apparently going to have to keep the grass longer this summer.
I can honestly make a bunch of these grids, but these games are currently at the top of my "more people need to play this" list.
The biggest problem with having a food allergy (never mind more than one) is how expensive the food you buy costs when you want to have something that everyone else usually gets for a cheaper price. My legitimate reaction to people complaining about food prices is usually:
With alt text. You have $15. What are you ordering? Eggs, bacon, fruit, 2 cups of coffee, and $3 for the jukebox in the diner.

This is my feline overlord. She is 17 and absolutely runs our house. Her bed downstairs sits next to my desk and she sleeps in the sun while I work.
My Irises are blooming! We're on track to have around 30 flowers, if not more, this year. That's quite a change from the 5 that bloomed last year. I'm hoping to plant native wildflowers this weekend on the other side of the yard too.
Doing my best today to be gentle with myself and learn important lessons from the example provided by my feline overlord. It's incredibly hard to make plans to do things and then wake up and not be able to physically do them. It'll all get done eventually, but it still sucks.
