Morning coffee at this hotel doesn't suck... cause I was able to make it myself on the balcony and enjoy a smoke with it. 13/10 work accommodations! The room even had a jacuzzi tub in it, my first soak since my accident!! Checking out was hard this time. Thanks boss!

Most industrial dairy ops are in concrete/metal factories with the cows being hooked to machines that pump food into them & milk out of them while keeping them in cages their entire lives. Outside kept dairy cows are often fenced in dirt & fed dry hay. Not all are happy 🐄s even here in Cowtown, CA

Of course my car registration and 6months insurance bill would be due at the same time I'm actively trying to source funds to make the car functional again. Might as well pay the state for the right to have a brokedown vehicle instead of actually fixing the vehicle. The system is broken!

Fire was what the doctor ordered. Camped on the east side of a thicket tucked away from the ocean air. Everything was soaked after a long foggy hike & it started raining right when i got to camp. Harvested dead standing hardwood trees to create this holler so had fuel to burn til 2am. Happy Holiday!

Along The Lost Coast found a tucked away spot to pull off for a brisk & damp hike this morning complete with some early ripening blackberries for breakfaat. Barely visible in the distance is the ocean, the foreground hides tall white yarrow and a bright foxglove as well as mint & dandelion flowers

Food adjacent... Compost tea for the garden. Muddled wild mustard, aloe, fish hydrolysate, compost, & molasses seeped in the sun for 8hrs.

Day 6 in the books. Just finished working in this idyllic scenery all day... My first full week of work since my biking accident injury knocked me out, I hurt, everywhere, but I made it! Happy Saturday!

Sidequested waaay out of bounds today. My relevant experience recording crystal bowls & handpans on my track 'Storm on the Horizon' led to an opportunity to soundtech for a soundbath with 8 gongs, 8 quartz bowls, handpans, zither, vox, and a flute! 🕉 sustaineddecay.bandcamp.com/album/goofst...

Curry puree. Added the spices, lemon juice, olive oil, & 1/4 of the veggie paste to a ziplock to marinate sliced chicken breast chunks earlier. Lentils are done. Rice in cooker now. Ill throw the rest of the paste with the curry spices into hot oil then drop the chicken, potato, & carrot to finish🤌🏻

Same sentiment. I haven't been making art worth sharing lately cause the general vibe of the world is all so... uffggh. Here's some flowers i grew for my local humminberbs.🤷🏻‍♂️

I scored this pile of gitfiddle gear(minus the pa speaker i got last month) from a free haul in Napa last week! Was just looking for a pa head! Chased a little toan when i got home from work today. I really wish i would take before photos... this stuff was filthy, but all seems to work ok.
