I just randomly spotted this Preston Blair swipe of Jerry Mouse on the title screen of Viper for the Apple II. For once, it isn't Spike Bulldog.
It was entirely because he wasn't the center of attention. And now that he is, he's confused that people think he's an asshole.

Ugh. GameMaker should catch stuff like that ... and it does! But it's just a Warning. They should elevate it to Error by default. You can do that in the IDE by right-clicking the Warning and configuring its severity.
