Two things can be true at the same time. Fanfest as a whole was amazing. The staff as a whole were amazing. The concert was amazing. Could it have been better though so EVERYONE had the same chance to see it properly, absolutely. Nuance is important to these conversations.

Accessibility isn't just for people with conditions and disabilities. Everyone can benefit from it. So, speaking up about it is something more people should be doing, because that's how change happens. Things are not black and white. Two things can be true at the same time.

I'm not going to fight with people who can't understand why this was an issue. It also wasn't the only problem and there are accessibility issues with the game itself that haven't been addressed at all. So, I'm not engaging with anyone who is being dismissive about this.

This is all I'm going to on that side of things. I really was not expecting this to leave my circle at all. I literally don't have the brain power or the necessary skills and vocabulary to educate people on why it's important to speak up about these things.

Yeah, this isn't accessible, at all. This will be my view from the priority seating. Seating that is supposed to be for those with medical issues and can't stand. Seeing The Primals live was on my bucket list.

This REALLY isn't acceptable. At all.

Possible stream at the usual time today. I've been obsessed with building in Paralives, so will most likely be doing that. Also, the charity event for raising money for Batyr is still going. They are keeping the tiltify campaign until the end of July. Which, I'm so glad for. I was looking forward to the event, but June said, "Nope'

I'll probably go into it a bit more on stream and things. Either way, hopefully, see you at the usual time.

CW - Pet loss I kinda love how there are so many ways to remember a beloved pet now. Mari is being cremated, and the place offers lots of different memorial things. I chose to get a lock of her fur in a bottle, a pendant with her ashes mixed in and an urn engraved with: Mari Forever Queen

About streaming FFXIV. I really hate having to do this, but until the devs recognise that the brightness and visual clutter is a huge problem for a lot of people, I can't stream it anymore. The eye strain and over-stimulation is just too much.

I think I'm going to have to make the decision to not stream FFXIV for a bit. The eye strain and over-stimulation from the graphics is getting to be too much. I literally can't think. So, it saddens me, but no more FFXIV on stream. I'm really hoping that they will at least add some turn down bloom, brightness/contrast settings for Evercold. So, I'll try again then.

I'll be throwing myself into the deep end of variety. There are some comfy/life sim type of games coming out over the next few months that I've been looking forward to. So, streams will lean towards those sort of games.

Sappy stuff again. I blame the EMDR for making so emotionally sensitive xD

Over the past couple of days I've had a few people say that they think of me when I'm not around and that I have had a positive influence in their life. That along with EMDR therapy and new meds that my body is getting used to led to me having a bit of an emotional reaction to something in FF8.

As someone who has spent most of their life trying to be small, be invisible, it's strange to me. I've never thought much of myself. So, I was convinced that I was so insignificant that I wouldn't even cross people's mind in a fleeting thought. If I'm not around I don't exist in others minds.

After being alone and having no one for most of my life, having a positive effect on another person's life is probably going to take a while to get my head around. It's going to take a bit to not feel like a fraud when I hear it. The concept is just so foreign to me.

Having an emotional breakdown over something that is actually a good thing is so wild. It usually happens for opposite reasons. I'm literally sitting here sobbing while I'm writing this xD

Thank you for letting me take up space in your minds. I literally wouldn't have come as far as I have if you all weren't in my life. You all have no idea how much you all have saved me. I feel so lucky to have you all around. Thank you. 💜

Just wanted to be open and transparent about some things that may have an effect on streams for a little bit 💜 (Thank you EMDR therapy xD)

After how tonight's stream went, I figured that I should be transparent about some irl things that might have an effect on how I am during streams for a bit. I've started a new type of trauma therapy recently (EMDR for those who might be familiar with it). I've only had one session of it, but it seems to be dredging up some not so fun emotions. For instance, tonight I was close to a panic attack on stream. Something that hasn't happened in a while.

I will do my very best to not bring that energy into streams, but it may seep through here and there. The emotional dysregulation be so strong, I swear. This therapy should lead to better things, but it might take some time. So, please be patient with me for the time being. Hopefully, it won't be for too long.
