Stumbled upon these two while biking through the University of Lethbridge campus on Saturday night. Mom wasn’t too far away, so I took a very quick pic while cruising by & got out of there.
Yesterday, this one injured its right leg & couldn't grip the bird feeder perch. After crying out, another bird would fly up, collect food & come back & feed his partner. This went on for 15 minutes. My best pics without scaring them off. Wassup @evoneuro.bsky.social? @juxtacognition.bsky.social

The fact that 1,100 people voted 81% in opposition is telling (it ain't scientific - I get it). So what mayor/councillors can tell their friends they didn’t increase taxes, hoping the Province has our best interests at heart: Hyggen, Beeber, Wolfe, Campbell, Dodic. Playing chicken, they are!
If you haven't heard Matteo Mancuso, now's the time! This is his second album, and it's fantastic (features Steve Vai on the opening track). One of this generation's best guitarists.
