Masquerade is one of the most technically advanced & emotionally sublime pieces of theater I’ve seen! 65 people journey thru this Phantom of the Opera reimagining as The Phantom & Christine’s story unfolds literally right next to you. I plan to write about it for Backstory - a must see of in NYC 👍

Christopher Nolan has delivered quite the filmic gift! I really dug The Odyssey! Tons to discuss regarding Nolan’s fantastic script & direction! The cinematography, editing, production design plus cast were all aces - with a career high for John Leguizamo! See it on the biggest screen ya can!

My highschool daughter & her pals got turned away from seeing Backrooms for being underage - so they’re doing what highschool kids always do: They’re buying tix to another movie & sneaking into Obsession! No idea why they changed movies… *Also, Backrooms is barely a legit R*
I consider Mysterious Skin to be Gregg Araki's masterpiece. It's a highly disturbing, visually and emotionally effective drama with great performances and filmmaking throughout. It definitely belongs programmed into Bleak Week @amcinematheque.bsky.social and I'm psyched to see his Q&A tonight!

I had a blast last night seeing #TheBoys finale in 4DX & really dug how they wrapped it all up! So…my phone is set that if I tap it twice on the back, the flashlight turns on - and wowza - I got whipped around so much in my seat that my flashlight kept going on and off!
Loved #TheMandalorianAndGrogu ! It’s a fun, pulpy space adventure that reflects the Flash Gordon styled tales that inspired George Lucas for #StarWars No need to know Mandalorian lore or to have watched much of the show - it’s just a gorgeous looking, entertaining side quest to kick back & enjoy~
So psyched to see Obsession tonight at @vidiots.bsky.social + a filmmaker Q&A! They gave us a One Wish Willow but I’m terrified to use it as ummm it’s seems a very ‘be careful what you wish for’ situation… Maybe I should text the helpline - heard that’s a good idea… 724-876-4554
