Anybody remember the Major's quite obviously lesbian friends from Stand Alone Complex? I know they imply more than show anything, but like... what did people think was going on there??? (IIRC the manga makes it more explicit that the 3 of them *are* all romantically involved with each other)

Maybe give the Pally more of a glowy/divinely enchanted sword kind of feel? At least in a D&D context, that's a big thing that a lot of Paladins can do but Clerics *can't* (image is from 5E Oath of Devotion, very much the archetypal D&D Paladin)

Excerpt from and online D&D Source Reference Document wiki, describing one of the Channel Divinity options for Oath of Devotion Paladins.

The excerpt reads: "Channel Divinity: When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Sacred Weapon: As an action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with positive energy, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you add your Charisma modifier to attack rolls made with that weapon (with a minimum bonus of +1). The weapon also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light 20 feet beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.

You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends."

Character reference sheet of an anthropomorphic "living plushie" snow leopard named Tuhina, which means "frost" or "moonlight" in Sanskrit. Tuhina is a curvy female character with a very long and fluffy tail, blue eyes, and a single "fang" visible even when her mouth is closed. She has mostly gray and white fur with black accents on her face and leopard rosettes all over. Seams are visible all over her body, and her paw pads, tongue, and inner ears are made of pink plaid fabric. She has a plushie tag on her right hip, with her name embroidered on it in pink Devanagari lettering (i.e. तुहिन)

The reference sheet was made by artist Antiroo (who is not on Bluesky as far as I know)

The new piece of equipment that made this all possible - an ND100000 solar filter :) (although obviously, the photos of totality were taken WITHOUT the filter attached)

Another photo of my hand holding up a solar filter for a camera lens. This time I am holding it in front of an overhead light fixture in my apartment. The light from the fixture is just barely visible as a dim white blur through the filter.

Another photo of the solar filter, this time taken from the side to show the specifications label printed on the filter's rim. The important pieces of information are that this is a ND100000 filter (ND meaning "Neutral Density," and 100000 indicating a roughly 16.6-stop reduction of light passing through the filter), and that it is made to fit a camera lens with a 95mm diameter.

Drove up to a friend's house in Leander (TX) yesterday to get some photos of the eclipse. The forecast was AWFUL, but despite that, the skies parted at exactly the right moment for a PERFECT view of the totality!!! I'm absolutely thrilled with how these turned out - couldn't have gone any better!

The moon is a jet-black circle in the center of the frame, and the sun's corona is visible as a bright glow of white light all around it

A photo I took on my phone of the camera setup I was using to photograph the sun during the eclipse. A Nikon DSLR camera is connected to a VERY large telephoto lens, which is mounted on a tripod with the lens fully extended, and slightly tilted upwards (although not as far upwards as when I was actually shooting with it - the camera had to be pointed almost completely vertical to be pointed at the sun)

A close-up photo of the lens I was using to photograph the eclipse. The important bits of information from the label on the lens are that it is a telephoto lens with 200-500mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/5.6

I've been googling endangered python species since I first saw you post this, and I gotta admit, I still have no clue 😅 I'm excited to see him and find out when he arrives, though!!! Also, your doodles reminded me of this :P
