Just finished my bookclubs July selection: The Wedding People. A weird book. Also, it seems a bit ridiculous that she gets offered (as a graduate student) a faculty position teaching English at the small Liberal Arts school she was attending. Especially without really publishing anything.
Prior to me listening to their podcast, the only X-Men collected edition I owned was the hardcover of X-Cutioners Song. (Due to nostalgia from when I was a kid.) After having listened to their podcast, I own a whole bunch of X-Men.
One of the most hilarious bits of DC trolling Marvel was when DC finally put out a trade of Invasion! They put it out at the same time as Marvel was running Secret Invasion and put a bit "secret no more!" subtitle on the cover.

Hey Chicago folks! If you haven't been round to Steingolds Deli on Southport in a while, they recently completed a renovation! The former main room is now entirely a dining room and the register (and front door) has moved to the side room by the kitchen.
