My home weather station in SE Texas a couple of hours ago. The "feels like" has cooled off now to 120. I may need to put on a sweatshirt. The heat is oppressive. 🙄
It begins. This year’s double-batch of Samin Nosrat’s recipe for vin d’orange is in the fridge for the next 40 nights. A bottle from last year as a comparison. I’ve always used rosé but used white this time (Côte de Gascogne). Central Market has the oranges now #Houston.
I ordered Lucy a little bandit hat. I texted my wife while she was out with her sister that a burglar had broken in and I was holding them at gunpoint: 10/12
One day my wife was taking Lucy for a walk around her apartment complex and Lu found an entire grilled cheese in the bushes. Side note: who throws away a grilled cheese? 8/12
