Happy birthday Ichigo!!! These are all the embroidery hoops I did of him over the past year. (I debated waiting until the 15th in my time zone to post this but I figure it's fine to post now!)

I made so much progress on the Maomao patch today!! (work was really slow OTL) #embroidery_wip

They're finally here!!!! Back when I was laid off last year I had to sell both of my original two Teru Vash. I'm so excited I get to have him again AND have a Knives to go with him. They'll be hanging out on my holo totebag for Otakon. Also had to snap a side by side with my patch before it sells

I started on the fill work today! This is all single strand fill like my hoops, instead of the double strand fill I've done on my previous patches. It's too detailed for double strand to really work. #embroidery_wip

I finished the outline work and washed off the stabilizer, so now it's going to dry overnight so I can start the fill! #embroidery_wip

Progress has begun! I'm hoping to finish outlining all the different colored aread tomorrow so ai can wash off the stabilizer and start the actual fill work next week. #embroidery_wip

I am attempting to record and make a reel for the first time for my ig account. I've never made an edited video before lmao. #embroidery_wip

I'm starting a new patch! For what looks at first like a fairly simple cell shaded piece, it takes a crap ton of colors! 34 total (black not shown as it's not on a bobbin) It took me 2 hours just to color matching all this. #embroidery_wip

Color matching is the least fun part of doing colored embroidery pieces. Since I realized my felt would dry just fine and clean off well from the washable stabilizer, I'm doing a bit more detailed of a patch. #embroidery_wip

I finished it a day.sooner than expected! I got the rest of the line work done really early so by the time it was evening the hoop was dry and I could do the fill. Thos is a little 3" hoop for my market in October. #embroidery #bleach #kurosakiichigo

I did it! My 3D embroidery is done! This piece has been such a learning experience, and I'm just so proud of it. It's one of my favorite panels, I'm thrilled I was able to pull it off. I'll be showing and selling it at the Otakon Art Show later this month. Detail Photos Below #embroidery #Trigun

Omg I actually finished the border. I spent 8 and a half hours on it today. Actually the whole project is done but I'm not doing photos until tomorrow. So look forward to that post! #embroidery_wip

Felt piece is trimmed and ready for border work, and I got a ton done on the hoop! I ended up spending just over 9 hours on it today. Gotta make up for the fact that I'm starting my new job tomorrow 😅 #embroidery_wip

Back to the felt piece briefly! Fill is done and the fabric back is glued on. When it dries I can do the final trim and start the border. #embroidery_wip

Yay, new thread! Since I ran out of my silver thread on my last hoop I had to get more, so I figured I'd also buy the dark gold since I didn't have it yet. So now I have all 3 colors!

Just the wing left to go and then I can wash off the stabilizer and do the small bits if fill on the end! I'll probably move on to the hoop next and get that done before I have to kill my fingers doing that border lmao #embroidery_wip
