Is it valid to yume but just barely talk about it? Im very public online for art but only ever post about my f/o's once in a blue moon or vaugepost about it. Idk i see accounts quoting prompts that are entirely dedicated to their f/o and I feel a bit guilty since I haven't even drawn him

What matters is how YOU feel about it. As much as we like to pretend otherwise, they're FICTIONAL/others. Do what makes YOU comfortable. If that means ageing her up, do it! If anyone doesn't like it, they're free to block you, if they harass you, block them.

Do you think ageing up a character for a selfship to match your own is problematic/creepy? I'm always anxious about my ship because I fell for her before her canon age was revealed and then it was revealed to be 13 when she looks nothing like that. I've even had people harass me over it

Well, headcanons are headcanons and also bi/pan characters exist, and it's not a given that it's 50-50 One could be bisexual 95% male 5% female or viceversa or any percentage combo. Don't worry, your f/o loves you!

I'm always a little apprehensive of my yumeship; its been headcanoned so much that my f/o is gay that I can barely believe he can love me. But he does, despite the gay proclamations he does love me! (Goro from persona 5)

It happened! I came across a fictive of the character I was yumeshipping! They dont know I exist so ive quickly blocked them. Hyperfixation has not transferred to a real person so its a success!

Theres a very niche problem of yumeshipping with a famous character; youre much much likelier to accidentally chance across an introject's account. Then its a race against your hyperfixation to block before it changes its target to a real person.

Personally I block ship tags I don’t want to see (although sometimes it's inevitable since some people don't have good fandom etiquette and don't tag the ship name) For the second one, I think it depends on the person!

Very sad that if I want to see art of my f/o I have to tolerate the boy the fandom ships him with all the time... Its either a pleasant surprise or its accidental NTR.

So how does a yume look at fanart and not think of NTR.. I somehow can accept mirror sharing but not canonical character ships, please help me out 😭

This is the same person that asked about my first yume when I was younger. Thank you for understanding my situation. Most people judge me for my Yumeship. Nobody ever truly listens to my reasons. I do see my Yume as an adult and not the shows canon age. I do personal AU's aged-up.

I have an issue. When I was 11 I had my first Yume. The character was 13. As I became older my love never faded. To me it was like they became an adult with me. I'm not a proshipper I swear. I even look at fanart of what they would look like as an adult. What do I do?

Personally I never watermarked commissions, just stated it's a commission when reposting it (usually that's how commissions works, the commissioner can repost them w/ credits, but it also depends on the artist so check with them)

I need the judgement of other yumes with commissioned art/other artists, what are our opinions on making your own watermarks for art you’ve commissioned? (With credit to the original artists) I don’t want my yume pieces stolen but sometimes (cont)

the watermarks the artists makes for them to post as commission examples make it look like IM the one stealing lol (or sometimes there’s no watermarked version)
