Judy is obviously the main attraction of 1954’s A Star is Born, but Mason’s sensitivity elevates the film in ways if wouldn’t with a number of other actors. He’s also excellent in Pandora and the Flying Dutchman and Bigger Than Life!!!
Acquired a very nice DVD set of Judy’s A Star is Born that I’ve been eyeing at my local record store for a couple of months - VERY happy with what all’s inside. Original photos, 35mm still, lobby cards, re-release poster, and the queen who owned it before me left a TV Guide inside. LOVE!
