Drunk amongst fish people, “we are all p-zombies,” globalist Democrat 🌎, optimist; simp for liberalism, Fukuyama & Dennet
We are on one of the most political US social media apps. It would be odd if it wasn’t overrun with these bots. There’s no consequences for them to do it.
I must sadly admit the hellsite still has far greater breadth and depth than BlueSky. It has the best of accounts, it has the worst of accounts.
That’s not an uncommon sentiment ofc. I only add that to defeat fascism at home requires striking at the root. Fascism relies on SYMBOLS of power. 1930’s Nazi rallies in NY & UK only occurred because Hitler was a successful symbol overseas. Imagine Putin as a pasteboard mask:
Yeah, kind of funny we so yearned for an exciting version of Biden we had to invent “DARK Brandon.”
Seceding from the Union would involve more violence than simply seating Congress correctly.
Example, the 2003 invasion of Iraq captured Baghdad in 22 days despite having a 1:2 attacker ratio. Only politics prevent Ukraine from being properly armed and doing the same.
His goal is counter-tariffs and further destruction of American soft power.
I hate to reference the hellsite, but your question demands it. The greatest tweet ever twitted holds the answer you seek:
So much fond nostalgia for the 2016 election in these comments! I voted Bernie in the primary, and happily voted Clinton in the general. Much of Trump’s win was do to this…
“Be quiet, small man” Musk today responding to the Polish Foreign Minister on the hellsite. French alternative to Starlink now in works for Ukrainian defense.
I realize you’re into the vibes you get. I am not though. Socially conservative Democrats are especially predominant in the Midwest & southern working class. This is flat out wrong:
Given the loss of two branches of government & constitutional order, I’m suggesting new job titles for leadership: the High Chancellor, our King & the Emperor…
Here’s a free substack article in response to that thing - and a pic from it comparing alternate unemployment rates over time. bsky.app/profile/bend...
Richest most powerful nation in the history of the world decides to burn its own house down because… … boredom.
It’s not my job to educate you, but these are some of the first. public mentions of the project that became Bluesky:
I did a quick web search to verify. Account seemed mix of typical leftie rage bait & engagement farming. On ballotpedia he loves Goldwater & hates Democrats. Decided to block. Wiki of his site:
Damn, it would have been so easy. What did he say about hangin in Miss Teen USA dressing rooms?
Agree 100% Fascists rely on symbols. Putin is a symbol of strength for neofascist movements globally - including Trumpism. It’s part of why Ukraine’s fight is a fight for liberal democracies. If Putin crumbles, neofascism broadly crumbles. Trump is a mask for Putinism. Melville’s Capt Ahab:
When the 2 halves of Kirk are reunited, it is obvious as he confidently and decisively gives orders saving a stranded landing party. Theme seems to be only wisdom & mojo combined lead to awesomeness.
The other Kirk is also lacking. He is FULL of compassion, and weighed down by responsibility. Slow, weak, he 2nd guesses everything, and is risk-averse to the point of inaction. I imagine him muttering “no… must not escalate.” 3/4
The infamous “Evil Kirk” seems almost in disbelief at the power the crew gives him. Driven by malice and rage, he’s prone to sudden violence & sexual assault. “I’m the captain!, I’M CAPT. KIRK!!” he shouts as he trashes everything. 2/4
New Prez has mentioned Star Trek S1:E5 multiple times. Let’s rehash this celebrated episode as it does seems to describe the Biden Era. It starts with a freak transporter incident that divides Capt. Kirk into 2 bodies with opposite minds… 1/4
