Finished Happiness. It was a great zombie apocalypse Korean drama with a more realistic approach to a zombie virus (it makes people go into a temporary rage but they can return to lucidity afterwards). Also, a minor plot point is that cryptocurrency becomes worthless in an apocalypse. Yay!

Junji Ito's adaptation fixed that. You just know a man who dresses in a fine suit like that can liven up any party.

Watched the two Re/member movies on Netflix. Japanese horror where our heroes have to find a bunch of body parts to escape dying repeatedly in a timeloop. High school in the first movie, amusement park in the sequel. Fun, low-budget fare with a bit of romance and surprisingly good cinematography.

I'm digital-only with few exceptions as a gamer. As a developer? It was really cool to make a big fancy physical release for Cosmic Star Heroine with a throwback Sega CD case. Made a decent amount of money from it too.

It's a seemingly minor thing but in the Star Fox remake, zooming into the battlefield at the start of each level and having the message, "Autopilot disengaged" appear does so much towards boosting immersion.

It boggles my mind how the same person who made ZZT, an ASCII-based program for making your own games, is one of the biggest advocates for the genAI slop train 35 years later.
