I'm so sorry to hear that, I can't imagine having to go through that. I hope your situation gets better or at least doesn't get worse. Reading this makes me want to give you a big hug. I've heard there's things you can do to improve your brain & blood flow to help fight it like exercise and diet.

A Splatoon Inkling shaped cooking with edible sugar eyes, but the eyes were placed on before cooking it instead of after, making the eyes translucent and misshapen as if it was crying.

I think i might have found it? Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) a lot of the examples i see online are of a different shape though, more like shrubs and bushes than trees. The two we had were much larger and had a larger variety of colors on a single plant.

A pink "Rose of Sharon" (Hibiscus syriacus). The base of the flower is a deep red while its petals are pink.

Lavender Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus). It's base is a deep dark red. Beyond it's base it's a pinkish lavender with a few stray deep red lines extending from its base. This transitions into a much cooler lavender as it extends to the the of the petal.

Just like intrusive thoughts, Caine isn't Bubble. Bubble isn't Caine. These thoughts are just that, thoughts, but these thoughts can get worse and even overwhelming when your mental health and view of yourself gets bad and unfortunately Caine is at an all time low after last episode.

A theory I've had for a while but never mentioned before as I wasn't confident in it is that bubble is like a personified intrusive thought bubble. Linked to Caine, discusses ideas with Caine, blurts out things and deteriorates/gets darker as Caine's mental health and view of himself gets worse.
