Fair point. I would say it circles back to your thing about non standard sizes. Can't even criticize the broad selection of overlapping gain stages, I suppose I do it with delays.
The spectacle of it has run it's course. So many weird pedals unused. Decided to tear it all down, before ever plugging it in... ...to build 3 smaller boards, with more purpose.
This was the cleanest build yet. Tape, velcro, zip ties. Smallest board I've built, truly. But...
Been building this board a while. Heart attack delayed me. Haven't felt like playing much anymore. Never talk about myself, so I'll keep to that.
Jamuary 17th. I liked the loop from yesterday, so I re-recorded it with a totally different feel. Half speed, stereo trem, sweeping filter, fluttery reverb and a tension building string pad.
Jamuary 16th. Explored some simple guitar today, vaguely inspired by Once Upon a Time in the West. Some modulated pitch delay, some slow phaser and chirpy weirdness from Chase Bliss' Lossy.
Jamuary 15th. Slow arp plucks from the Meris Enzo X processed 3 different ways in parallel. Choral with bitcrushed flavor.
Jamuary 13th. Crusty lofi loop with a bit of lonesome sounding synth floating overtop.
Abernethy baritone. Tuned open Ab, with a killer set of Gemini stacked goldfoils.
Jamuary 10th. Spacey synth plucks, cascading delays, nostalgic but kinda sad feel.
Jamuary 5th. 3 layers of the same loop processed through the Chase Bliss Mood in different ways.
Doing #jamuary things this year. Going to try for a short loop everyday, featuring visuals from one of my favorite shows, Bee and Puppycat.
Planning a smaller board for dirt. I mostly use the Mother preamp that's on the bottom shelf, it has a decent range. The PURPLL also does a really good fuzz.
