Teamed up with my siblings to get my dad (an avid cyclist my whole life) the new LEGO road bike set for his 50th birthday! Since it ships out today (a week after his birthday), I scampered over to the nearby used LEGO store to forge a suitable stand-in till it gets here. I think he liked it :3
I walk onto the bus. I see the bus driver rockin' a right nice Stetson. Bus driver sees me wielding an arcane and pointy cap. We both nod, and nearly in unison say "Hey, nice hat." (Day 2 of Rincewind the Wiz(z)ard from Discworld, last day of #NationalLibraryWeek!)

We do fun things at the library! Sometimes that includes dressing up :3c So here's my work cosplay of Rincewind the Wiz(z)ard from Discworld! (I have a DnD session right after, so The Luggage is carrying all my dice too :3)

1: The Invasion Loved it! Detailed thoughts in the alt text to avoid spoilers (if I made it 30 years without getting much of 'em, least I can do is pass that on). That said, this is the one I remembered the most and STILL was surprised several times. Great intro to the series, excited for more :3
I may post more #PLA2026 pics as I get time, but had to share my absolute highlight of the conference today: meeting @kaaauthor.bsky.social! As someone who grew up loving (and still loves) her books, I was already a big fan, but getting to chat in person drove home just how remarkable she is!

Found a secondhand LEGO store super close by us! It had: -huge pick-a-brick bins -tons of minifigs/sets -retro sets (ROCK RAIDERS) -Cute lil custom builds But the biggest thing was this Bionicle mask calling out to me like the Green Goblin helmet 👀💦 Dog have mercy, I might go back for it. . .
@griffinmcelroy.bsky.social is a fave silly guy/storyteller for me. Usually that's with tabletop RPGs (hey also go listen to TAZ), but as of today he has a ✨️📚B O O K📚✨️ Super solid sci-fi AND the newest entry for the Choose Your Own Adventure series! Very excited to try all the paths n' pages :3

Had a wonderful birthday party last night, where @sebsnep.bsky.social gave me THIS. He had half a dozen pals play my solo game and share their sketches/journaling with him, which he gathered in a binder with sweet notes from all of 'em. My heart is so full, this is maybe the nicest gift ever ;m;

That moment you grab a sweater for work, forget WHY you bought that sweater, and spend the whole day looking like a Starfleet officer (which I by no means minded, was very fun!) Am casual Trekkie, so I'm told this would be science/medical depending on the series, a good class for this fox ^w^
