Thanks, Gabino. Let's do a coming attraction. I have a story in here and can't wait to read the rest from my fellow authors. Dig it...from @literarygarage.bsky.social
Film you’ve watched more than 6 times with a gif “Hard mode:“ No Star Trek, Star Wars, LotR, Disney or Ghibli (couldn't find a gif)
Thanks Gabino! Couple of new things coming. Story in @literarygarage.bsky.social new Warren Zevon antho later this this year. More on that soon. And here's one of several awesome cover tries on my latest novel (design by @oivas.com), a brutal, heartbreaking thing coming in 2026:
Thanks, Beau. Been a while, deep in act three of a new novel. Here's a glimpse of one of the cover tries. WILDMAN will release later this year.
No cheating; your last saved picture of a celebrity is your therapist. I’ll be fine.
On this special day of thanks, please keep this deeply, perpetually, fundamentally ungrateful girl in your thoughts.
May he never have to survive another exCRUtiating evening with Roger Matheson on the other side. RIP John Woodvine. 96! Well done. Tiz the season but never need a reason to watch An American Werewolf in London...
Contributor copy day is always a good day. Also fun when the editors pick your story to lead off an issue. "Grampy Dargle" is one mean old bastard. Thanks @erykpruitt.bsky.social!
Ok, hear me out. A Lord of the Rings re-make, but with these two taking the One Ring to Mordor:
I consider this a failed exercise. I failed. This only scratches, nay not even scratches, it lightly brushes the surface and is probably less about best than it is about favorite and also reveals a lot. No LAST JEDI what kind of film snob am I.
The more times I saw Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger as a kid the less I cared there was Sinbad, an Eye, and a Tiger in the film.
Thanks, Beau. How about a COVER REVEAL! My second story collection, DARKNESS DOUBLED. 16 new tales, crime, horror, horror-crime, crime-horror, maybe some dark comedy and some are just plain weird. Cover design by the incomparable @oivas.com On sale date coming soon!
There were many but I saw this and Live and Let Die at roughly the same age.
RIP Mike Peters. Fortunate to have seen him one last time when he hit the Sellersville Theater a few years ago. He ripped through songs like a man on mission, which he was. Some pics from that show:
In honor of the new stunts Oscar, I can't wait for the noms in films that have no business at the Oscars, like these older shoe-ins had it existed: THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN
COVER REVEAL. New horror novella. Rock stars! Horrible happenings! I jest -- this is bar none one of the darkest things I've ever written. Cover design by the incomparable @oivas.com. Pre-orders up, links to come, ON SALE 4/4.
give me a single image from a film that immediately makes you hear the song from the soundtrack in your head.
