I watched my first episode of this today. It’s about a sentient dune buggy. One of those millions of Hanna Barbera cartoons from the 70s. Anyway, I got about five minutes in and said aloud, “these characters are NOT compelling!”

The return journey was delayed by three hours due to 3 things: 1. Freight traffic. 2. Having to stop for police assistance when a passenger punched a conductor 3. A train derailment in our way. (One car pictured) Also, I witnessed a woman getting kicked out of the dining car.
Actually probably shouldn’t blame LA for the illness as I reckon I likely contracted the cold on the Amtrak, which was my brilliant travel decision
