In the early days of Linux before it got really mainstream, a lot of us who had Linux servers would have uptime wars to see whose machine could stay up the longest. Even a hundred days was impressive coming from Windows. Like this old whiteboard photo bragging about a couple machines I ran.

VRchat went down but if you were in an instance you get to stay. You can't go anywhere, and if you log out you can't come back. The three of us have just been chatting and it's kind of amazing. "You can't go anywhere you want, and you must stay here."
Do you shut down your Windows PC every night? You might actually not be doing so. I highly recommend everyone turn off "Fast Startup", which makes your PC sleep instead of actually shutting down.

FWA Furality VRchat portal last night. It was PACKED. 60 avatars in a small space. 28-30 fps. I'm in moontail form towards the lower left. The instance is so popular there was a long queue to get in. But it moves fairly quick!
One frustrating thing about this long-gone site is that it's impossible to Google to find out what happened to its creators, or if anyone else remembers it, because both "the corporation" and "hostile takeover" are such generic terms.

MIA airport WiFi on the left, my own celphone hotspot on the right. It's not too crowded and I had an excellent signal to the AP. How is stuff like airport wifi not a solved problem by now? (10.0.3.1 is my VPN endpoint which is why it's the same IP both times.)
Also I have a little "removable storage" museum in my office at work. :)
