Knitter, spinner, reader, baker, nerd. Was socially awkward now completely feral. I sometimes give cupcakes to strangers. Childless cat lady. Infrequent blogger at Northeast Ohio. she/her
Keep forgetting to share that I ate peanut butter toast the other day and the peanut butter that ended up on my shirt looked like a giraffe. Mmmm, I am a bit peckish, maybe I should have more peanut butter toast.
Nature is cool. (Dragonfly exoskeleton. Marking as graphic because some people don't want to see insects or insect-related things in their feed.)
My current WIP is covered in cat hair, and I haven't the faintest idea why.
Now that it is Monday and I am at work and can see the logs: All three of you (plus me!) logged in separately (one twice), at different times. There was zero overlap. Sorry!
Tried to spin but was thwarted twice: once by a broken brake band spring, the second by my furry assistant.
Zoey wants everyone to see her new yarn. #TourdeFleece #handspinning
And it's dry and inside. I am also inside but am no longer dry. Sat down to cool down before my shower, Zoey has attached herself to me because I should know better than to go outside without her.
Zoey has a new friend! And by friend, I mean someone she would like to bite.
Ran a quick errand, feels like I was gone for days, not just 30 minutes.
If you'd like, post one photo of a painting that you took with your very own hands.
Craft idea!!! (If they didn't specify that the program is for tweens and teens, you can bet that this middle aged woman would be there!)
Zoey is helping me knit. She's making sure that my yarn contains enough cat fur.
I can provide proof of kittens but I am not getting in her face to take a picture of her with a kitten.
Today is Zoey's Gotcha Day. It's a shame that she never learned to relax in the whole 12 years she's lived with us.
Whee! Finished three knitting projects this weekend. Nothing is blocked, no ends are tucked, but the knitting is done. Zoey helped a lot, she's a very helpful helper.
