I was in a bad mood and then we took the bus to the farmers market and ate an arepa and now I am in a good mood
How do street-design knowers feel about these mini roundabouts with mountable curb centers that allow larger vehicles (aka buses) to intentionally drive over them? Not perfect but in a space constrained area they seem pretty good to me

The bridge was designed as replica of the primal 1931 bridge but with a modern deck. The old bridge had an open metal grating deck that was quite the experience to drive over
It’s extremely short trip where the bridge spans the main channel but Google Maps has the route shown
Had my @milesintransit.com moment this weekend to go out of my way to ride the Iowa/Wisconsin ferry in operation while the Blackhawk bridge is being replaced!
We just took a trip that involved 2 transfers, on a Sunday. I don’t know if that was even possible in the old network. Also it was to get whatever this delicious bowl of Vietnamese food is called

This sign seems like a bit of an overkill for a 2 block street that serves maybe 50 cars a day
A stroller, full sized electric wheel chair and a lady with a walker do not all fit on a 30 foot bus thanks Russ! Had to lift and carry the stroller to the back
