Born and raised a Hoosier -> East Nashville -> Williamson County I like to ride bikes of all kinds. I play music (mainly drums).
Man...the admin portraits at the VA check-in really give a vibe. The staff is awesome though and it really sucks that they have to look at that every time they come to work.
Had to roll up Wilson. Greenway was very underwater. Lightning was still nuts after the storm. Hell of a -supposed to be- quick ride.
My grandparents had a houseboat when I was a kid, and I remember having to outrun a storm back to the dock. It was scary. Gave me PTSD watching the dumbasses drive INTO a severe tstorm, drunker than shit, no lifejackets, ON A PONTOON. It accurately represents the current state of our country. 🫤
Brian Toone about to finish a 4200 mile bike ride to race Outbound XL in Kansas. 😆🤯
The fam in IN picked a bad day to go camping. Just let sis know they should ditch the camper and head to town.
Watched this guy whip his truck into the parking spot like he was pulling into pit road for a fill up and tire change. Had to take a pic in case I saw him in the news later running over someone.
LOL, check out that race report. @airbornegeek.com if we join our local Lifetime Fitness, we skip the lottery to get picked to race. 2027 here we come? 🤣
For dessert after the ride, I picked up 19 bags of magnolia leaves and weeds at Lauren's parent's. Now I eat everything in the house.
Pleasant spinny spin with @airbornegeek.com this morning. Haven't been on the road in a bit. Everyone was well behaved for the most part.
Feel like I'm prepping for an epic ride with @airbornegeek.com in the morning, charging all my bike gadgets...Then I look at Brian Toone's status in the unbound race. 😆 350 down and only 5 miles to go!
The last time I played the 'boro was with Jason Isbell, and he was definitely still on the sauce. Tornado'd too that night. Good to be back.
Brian had a 1,000-mile warm-up ride to the race that started last Sunday night. Now for a 350+ mile gravel race! Kinda blows my mind that a 50+ year-old guy can ride like that.
Making progress on the really overgrown sections of trail that don't get worked on much. This is gonna be so awesome to ride when it dries.
Man...I've thought I should ride to local races in the past, but who rides 1000 miles to and 3000 miles home from the 350-mile UNBOUND XL gravel race JFC?!? I love following along with this guy's adventures. He's about to head out. pickuta.com/album/332 @airbornegeek.com @jeremynt.bsky.social
OH JFC...that was 30 years ago!?! They played after No Doubt. I guess people were tired after hopping around with Gwen. 🤣(and egress was a real bitch at that place back then)
