North, but not North enough.
Slightly disturbed by the latest offer in the John Lewis sale. @privateeyenews.bsky.social #johnlewis
@memorialdevice.bsky.social Ouseburn, Newcastle. Life's a series of difficult decisions.
Was there last week. It certainly wasn't hot but the grace and kindness was intact.
After signing one of your petitions, I ended up getting countless emails from names I don't recognise and with clickbait titles. Example attached. It turns out they're from 38Degrees. Couldn't you do better?
One of the first things Reform Durham did was change Council rules to make it harder to complain about their behaviour, whatever they appear to be inciting. 7 FB posts from Darren Grimes today on the Henry Nowak murder. Looking very much like the Charlie Kirk playbook. @luke-akehurstmp.bsky.social
Almost 200,000 people "watching" the text-based BBC Sport coverage of the Champions' League final. I wonder how many watching are BBC-bashing licence optout-ists. #PSGARS #defendtheBBC
The problem is, it's starting to look a lot like the Trump USA takeover; lots of finger-pointing at the awful things going on but nothing is really gaining traction.
Finished Zola's "Earth" a few days ago. Very good read, which I guess says a lot about Margaret Crosland, the translator. Now Fowles' "The Ebony Tower", a collection of five stories. I've read The Magus, so am prepared to be bemused. The first paragraph is good, anyhow. No need to rush. #booksky
I need to work out how to make a GIF of Lord Daniel Dyer's Brexit rage on Good Morning Britain. Twat! Take note, @andyburnham.bsky.social.
