Cracking a coy smile, as she is want to do, Dancing Green proceeds to ask a question.

Green: "Girl, are you actually dissatisfied with a material quality of your skill, or are you placing the burden of conflict between culture and capital on your shoulders again and beating yourself up over it?"

Sugar Riot is stunned by how quickly and articulately her anxieties have been summed up.

Sugar recoils, hiding her face a bit as she shakily repeats Green's bullseye-accurate remark.

Sugar: "I-I'm...I'm placing the burden of conflict between culture and capital on myself-"
Green: "...tween culture and capital on-YEAH. Yeah, that's what I thought, Sug."

A formal-ish business party consisting of Metem, Godbert Manderville, and some of the Arcadion fighters is underway. Metem and Vamp Fatale gab with Godbert as the most outspoken personalities present, while Tyrant appears less confident than his stage persona would suggest, though Vamp offers him a friendly hand to soothe his nerves. Howling Blade and Dancing Green listen attentively as well.

Out of the corner of her eye, Green sees Sugar is quiet and disconnected from the rest of the party.

Having left a bit early, Green and Sugar opt to find an alleyway and destress with some "problematic vices"; Green puffs on a cigarette and watches with a smile as Sugar shakes a spray paint can, preparing to leave a painting.
