Lucy Knisley's Peapod Farm books are just lovely, about moving to the country and trying to get along with your new step-family, with bonus lessons on eg tapping trees for maple syrup, as in this tome. Ideal for ages 8+. And indeed, some adults who maybe need to learn to be less Walter-ish.

Shame Jane Austen only finished 12 chapters of Sanditon. Could happily read more of the 70yo deriding the idea of bringing a doctor to their village as it would only encourage the poor "to fancy themselves ill". Or Sir Edward, complaining about trashy novels, loving only romance fiction himself.

This cinema listing - just IMAGINE there's a : behind the pillar! - is a beautifully concise summary of one careless arrogant cheating killer and his pliable crew meeting a cyclops, giant cannibals, pig-witch, Sirens, multi-headed vicious beastie and then a large number of boorish suitors. 🏆
Like, Enya could have sung it all ethereal and beautiful and that, but the end credits music for the last LOTR movie really really should have been Go West.
If you want historical nun fiction this is an excellent novel about the c12th mystic Marie de France, banished to a nunnery at 17, who LIVED A LIFE within its walls.
Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), pondering why it's easier to believe in aliens who can power your electrical goods on/off and sunburn you at night, than that any small child would be called BARRY.
