Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains.
Look, Jada Toys, you have made some very good Scooby-Doo action figures. Nobody is disputing that. The gang and the villains? They looks great. BUT!
I am not at San Diego Comic Con. The last time I attended, I was eager to get the 3.75" Marvel Universe Master of Evil 3-pack (because Siege of Avengers Mansion is my favorite Avengers story), which I opened. Baron Zemo was later re-issued, but Tiger Shark and Radioactive Man never were.
People often refer to the Velma catsuit from SCOOBY-DOO 2: MONSTERS UNLEASHED, but I present to you 23-year-old Linda Cardellini in *that* episode of BOY MEETS WORLD.
A couple of interesting collectibles finds in the San Fernando Valley this week. ML Luke Cage was $7 at DD's MOTU Origins Multi-Bot was $25 at Ross (Modulok had only been $13 when they had it...)
Hi @buzzdixon.bsky.social Have you seen this 6” News Broadcaster action figure from BigBadWorkshop's Non Playable Character (NPC) line? He looks familiar...
OK, I relisted some more Marvel Legends customs, and my second Mail-away Colors Classified Sgt. Slaughter. #MarvelLegends #GIJoeClassified #CustomActionFigures #CustomMarvelLegends #AlphaFlight #XMen #Inferno
And I just listed my first attempt at a Classified Sgt. Slaughter in mail-away colors. LMK if you don't want to use eBay. #CustomActionFigures #GIJoe #GIJoeRAH #GIJoeClassified #CustomGIJoe #CustomGIJoeClassified
In addition to Galactus, I have also relisted several custom Marvel Legends figures. A few of them are X-Men '97 themed! #MarvelLegends #CustomMarvelLegends #CustomActionFigures #XMen #XMen97 #AlphaFlight
I spoke with my dear friend Mitch McConnell for 20 minutes this morning.
Thanks to an amusing quirk in my Bsky timeline, I realized that these 2 Tarantula appearances are different issues.
Name a TV show you're positive no one remembers but you. PBS' first (only?) original sitcom. "Banks!!! Stop eating your neighbors!"
This was a tweet of mine a while ago, but this image generator makes it *chef's kiss*.
OK, I've never wished for a real-life SUDDEN DEATH scenario (as in the 1995 action movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme), but...
"Honey, quick! Company's coming! Break out the good glassware!" But seriously. If you can get to Goodwill in Northridge, these 2 sets of Taco Bell Star Trek III glasses are being sold in a lot of 8 for $20. Excellent condition.
50th Anniversary Blowtorch is not one of my favorite action figures, but his head has an excellent Resting Imperial Officer Face. #StarWars #MayTheFourthBeWithYou
I had some good luck on Free Comic Book Day. Bear Cave CCG in Northridge had a good selection of this year's books. And Spero's Heroes in Chatsworth was giving away lots of older books, so I was able to scratch my Pulp Hero itch.
Ppst your favorite movie novelizations. I found this at the library used book sale and was stunned to discover that it had a fourth ending, so I bought it for 50 cents. I soon learned that it is valuable, so I sold it for $130.
Wait, so he's said this more than when the Red Skull was around?
More goals from Chris Ahuja. Does Brad Sherman support any of this? Does Jake Levine?
All of these policy statements come directly from Chris Ahuja's website
I like that Katie Porter's Instagram is full of posts with short, clear policy statements. I want Chris Ahuja's congressional campaign for CA32 to be the same. @chrisahuja.bsky.social
Mike and I talked about Dick Tracy, and I found these comics written by Max Allan Collins (former writer of the Dick Tracy comic strip) and some drawn by Joe Staton (former artist of the Dick Tracy comic strip). @mikester.bsky.social
I dug through his $1 boxes and found some fun collections of old comic strips. I'm sure the Charlie Chan stuff is not at all problematic. #CharlieChan #BuckRogers
