It looks like a D v D runoff in California State Senate District 24 (representing 1 million people). This area covers Los Angeles County's Westside from Hollywood's to Malibu and then south to the Beach Cities. Congratulations to John Erickson and Brian Goldsmith.

State Senate Districts in California represents 1 million people. We are watching a tight race in District 24. I am keeping my eye on this Los Angeles Westside and Beach Cities district, because we could see a another D v. D contest emerge to replace popular State Senator Ben Allen.

43% of the #California primary vote has not been counted yet -- mail-ins and provisions which have been left-leaning for thirty years. The order of finish in close races might change as that vote is accurately verified and tabulated. There is a final result, and we will know it in a few weeks.
