Ran a new "intestinal" route this morning in a neighborhood about 3 mi. from home. About a half marathon in the "intestinal" part of the run. Still find it interesting that this distance can fit into such a small area (~0.5 sq. mi.) More info: www.strava.com/activities/1...

Last Sat., I joined a "Walk and Talk" with MD Del. Lorig Charkoudian (District 20, MoCo) along Sligo Creek Parkway, Takoma Park. At the state and local levels, it seems a lot can still be done--a bit of calm in the ongoing storm. Also calming was this barred owl (?) in a bamboo grove watching us.
