Good luck to everyone opening their A Level results today! Whatever your grades, you should be proud of the hard work you’ve put in to get to this point.
The theft of VW badges is causing real frustration and costing local people hundreds. This is a long-standing issue; customers shouldn't be left out of pocket while Volkswagen fails to address design flaws. I've written to Volkswagen calling on them to offer more assistance.
St George's Hospital will host a new Mental Health Emergency Department. Having specialist teams available means those in crisis get the rapid, expert care they desperately need, in the right environment. I know from my work on the frontline that this will make a real difference.
Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing a humanitarian catastrophe. It is unfolding before our very eyes. I've joined colleagues urging the Home Secretary to ensure women and children to find safety in the UK. We must offer refuge to those fleeing unimaginable suffering.
Great to be joined by @bellribeiroaddy.bsky.social and @seemamalhotra-mp.bsky.social on the campaign trail in Balham today. Every vote here matters. The Tories are scrapping Council Homes and holiday meal vouchers for kids - we must not let them take full control of Wandsworth.
Fantastic morning canvassing with my friend @dawnbutlerbrent.bsky.social for our incredible local candidate Shirin Georgiani! This by-election is crucial - it decides who runs Wandsworth. Vote Labour to stop the Tories agenda of cuts and chaos.
Great evening hitting the doorsteps for Shirin Georgiani in Balham and Tooting Bec! Fantastic to have my friend @liamconlon.bsky.social join us. This by-election is crucial: it decides who runs Wandsworth. Vote Labour to stop Tory cuts and chaos.
Happy 120th Birthday to our beloved Tooting Bec Lido! It's incredible to think of how many generations have enjoyed its waters. Here's to many more decades of creating cherished memories for our community.
⏱️161 hours. That's how long the River Wandle had sewage pumped into it last year. We need urgent action to protect this precious natural resource for generations to come.
Wandsworth's Tory Council has axed holiday food vouchers. 10,000 children in Wandsworth now face hunger this summer. Every child deserves to eat. Sign our petition: wandsworthlabour.uk/petitions/ch...
Back on shift today a bit bleary eyed after needing to bring my youngest to hospital this weekend. She received amazing care and I’m grateful I now get to come back and be part of the brilliant NHS family.
The corridor care crisis is being driven by a social care system that needs urgent reform. We must address the issues in social care with a clear plan to ensure patients receive the care they deserve while easing the pressure on our NHS.
It was so interesting to visit the London Ambulance Service control centre. Getting to meet the dedicated teams who work tirelessly at the heart of our emergency response is always inspiring. Their professionalism and unwavering commitment to care are truly remarkable.
"Corridor care" is a misnomer - there is nothing caring about being treated in a corridor. We must ensure dignified care for all - yesterday I led a debate on corridor care in our NHS.
The Wandle, our local river, is a real gem, but sadly sewage was pumped into the river for 161 hours last year. This is unacceptable. We need to protect our precious natural spaces.
Out supporting my good friend Louie in Clapham Park this morning. He’s local and will work tirelessly for the community. Get out and vote for him today!
Today I’ve nominated Andy Burnham to be the next Leader of the Labour Party. He has a record of delivery as Mayor of Manchester, as well as the vision needed to bring the Labour family together and take the country forwards.
Too many patients are stuck in corridors, waiting for care. This isn't about statistics; it's about real people in distress. As an A&E doctor, I've seen the impact firsthand. Today, I've secured a debate in the House of Commons on NHS corridor care. We need urgent solutions.
Trans people deserve dignity and respect. I've written to the Women and Equalities Minister, urging her to listen to calls from myself & other MPs to disapprove the draft EHRC Code. Read my letter below 👇
As your member of Parliament, my door is always open. Whether it’s an issue with housing, the local council or something else, always feel free to reach out. Contact me at rosena@drrosena.co.uk
Pleased to host Health Secretary James Murray MP at St George’s A&E today. We discussed how the hospital’s use of Ambient Voice Technology is improving patient care. It’s vital we embrace innovation to support our incredible NHS.
Attacks on emergency workers are despicable. Our police, NHS staff and firefighters deserve our respect and support. The APPG on Emergency Care, which I chair, is launching an inquiry into abuse and violence suffered by staff in emergency departments.
Busy Sunday shift in A&E today. It’s much cooler today but the incredible team here powered through during the extreme heat we saw this week. They’re a credit to our community.
The heatwave is here, and it's set to intensify. Please check in on elderly neighbours, stay hydrated, and find shade when possible. Take care, Tooting!
The Wandle is a rare natural treasure - a chalk stream vital to our community. Yet last year, 161 hours of sewage were dumped into it. For London Climate Action Week I got stuck in to clean up the river.
Polling Day is here in Makerfield and I'm glad to be out supporting @andyburnham.bsky.social! Only Andy can keep Reform out and stand up for the values we all hold dear - if you live locally, get out and vote before polls close at 10pm.
Ten years ago today, a local girl from Tooting became your MP. A decade on — I'm still here, still fighting, and just getting started.
Nine years on from the Grenfell Tower fire, we remember the 72 lives lost. Structural inequalities were laid bare that night. The Grenfell community has waited too long for accountability, we must see justice for all those lost and affected.

Today, I visited the London Ambulance Service's control centre. It was really insightful to see the dedication of the teams working tirelessly, especially as an A&E doctor myself. They are the first voices of calm in emergencies, and their commitment to Londoners is inspiring.
