M got an inflatable kayak last month and I’m pretty much hooked. Given that my back gate is maybe 20 meters from the water, this is an easy addiction to feed.

I've been doing an online course on modern bobbin lacemaking, and finally finished one of my exercises: a design using only three pairs of bobbins. It's based on the last line of my favorite poem (allpoetry.com/poem/8505767...): "it is alternately stone in you and star." 🧶

Tattoo! Very vivid because we did the color today.

The edges of the box were pretty rough and splintery. I poked around the local hardware store’s website and found some hardwood edging with an L cross section. That would cover the rough part as and save our wrists. (5/n)
