The Mega Drive was my first console, and it still feels the most 90s due to it and the MS having the only game cartridges to come in plastic boxes, which gave the whole package a similar feel to VHS tapes. The cardboard boxes of Atari/Nintendo cartridges feel more like toys by comparison.
