Okay my turn If Apple doesn’t fix the sidebar open/close animation on the Mac, I’m gonna put everyone in a rear naked choke hold
Great ride. I’m conviced they can scale a robotaxi service now. Still not convinced they’ll be able to sell a car with no steering wheel.
First ride in Tesla’s Robotaxi *without* an operator in the passenger seat! Not gonna lie, I was skeptical they’d make it this far on vision alone.
Love how some of Apple's Mac apps are absolute ass, but this random control buried in Keychain has beautiful glass effect.
Also mad at EVERY car company for not building a cool electric minivan! You can’t even buy one of these in the states right now.
Still mad that Tesla developed an entirely new car just to use it for a robotaxi service. Maybe they’ll change course in a few years and build a version that can actually be sold to people.
New Siri app on the Mac is nice for simple chats. I'm sure they'll dress it up soon, but right now it looks like somebody's starter SwiftUI app. 😂
We’ll probably never find out, but I reaaaaaaaally want to know more about this.
I really want to know what “Trusted System Agent” is, and how it works 👀 www.apple.com/newsroom/202...
macOS gets real improvements – a proper sidebar and title bar! I really didn’t expect them to change this stuff! #WWDC26
Every once in a while you catch a glimpse of old-school macOS UI still lurking in the system – and it's shocking how crisp it is. Everything has distinct lines and edges. No glass, floating surfaces, or visual mud.
I think Unsung is my favorite new blog of the year. I can’t stop reading about software design and the Mac, thank you @aresluna.org! unsung.aresluna.org
Watched LOTR for the first time (yes really), and it was the extended cut. Can somebody tell me wtf Legolas is doing here? Was this in the original?
I can’t help but post photos every time I see it. This time, at the Austin airport superchargers. A few observations: 1. The charging port is REALLY low, this is definitely not intended to be plugged in. 2. The steering wheel looks like it’s on a temporary mount.
My dream product: Mac Shuffle. A tiny Mac that fits in your pocket. Plug into any monitor. A19 Pro, 12GB memory, starting at $399.
Spotted a Zoox for the first time in East Austin yesterday, plus my third CyberCab sighting 👀
I love carrying this little glow light when I creep around in the morning. Only thing better would be a real oil lantern.
If you’re vibe coding, but you’re not listening to this — you’re just coding.
If this is true, then I have even more confidence in Ternus. I think he’s right on all of these things. (I don’t think Vision Pro was a flop like some are saying — but I do wonder if spatial computing is the future.)
