In its upcoming internal review of the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol, the GLA
should consult with community organisations and people with lived experience of
rough sleeping to identify how types of weather other than cold weather, including
extreme or prolonged rainfall or wind, affect rough sleepers.

The GLA and London Councils should engage with boroughs to evaluate the
effectiveness of the hot weather guidance. This review should also identify any
barriers faced by boroughs which make implementing this guidance challenging.

I’m incredibly enthused by the prospects of a Zack led Green Party His campaign has already bolstered and energised my local party - and I know countless others In this final stretch let’s zero in on that positive team that is united and ready to take on this dismal Labour Party

This week we learned that long-serving Islington councillor Caroline Russell is endorsing him. She wrote on bluesky: "Zack has shown how well he connects with people and with the media, gaining serious air time for the Greens".
Her support means she's in step with her Town Hall colleague Benali Hamdache, who has been firmly # BackZack from the beginning.
He told the Islington Tribune this week that he had been "a bit disappointed by the tone of Adrian & Ellie's [Ramsay and Chowns] campaign"
', adding:
"They've been very negative about the prospect of a Zack-led campaign which to be frank seems a positively un-Green level of negativity."
He said that more people were joining the Islington Greens as a result of Mr Polanski's campaign. "My experience, as a Green of 13 years, is that a Zack win would be a huge boon to us," he said.
