My human is a sensor and simulations computer engineer in the aerospace industry who enjoys games and family and us cats. "If we wish to count lines of code, we should not regard them as 'lines produced' but as 'lines spent'" Dijkstra He/him
Schrödinger, the namesake for this account, passed away this morning. He was halfway to 21 so it wasn't exactly surprising but it was sudden. I was already at work but my wife was with him to comfort him in his final moments as she was getting ready.
Accidentally fired my storage wand and turned Noita into a slideshow... Any day now I should get control back, I hope.
Everytime I see or hear this expression in a news story, I think of Arlington Road (1999).
I was recently accused of the same because I use en dashes. They asked me where on the keyboard the character was and I replied with this image. It is like, if you jnow how to use technology? Must be AI.
The author of this article should consider the possibility that Trump is so dumb he thinks "a Republican form of government" refers to the party and not the historical context. Source: slate.com/news-and-pol...
We finally saw momma bird and it is a chickadee. Picture from a site called Happy Acres Blog for comparison.
Anyone know what kind of eggs these are? Our grilling toolbox was left partially opened last year and some birdy saw the opportuniy and took it. Our best guess is maybe Blue Jay or Cardinal but there isn't a lot of room in there and I am thinking maybe a smaller bird. Location is DFW.
Schrödinger in the tree where we found him and his sister 20 years ago. His sister managed to wriggle free but he ended up spending the next 20 years with us.
A Republican president bragging that they increased taxes on US citizens by an average of $450 per citizen in just six months.
I might look past WotC current failings if they have the wherewithal to print this in Universes Beyond or a Secret Lair drop.
If you see this, I implore you to post a pic from your device without context.
Hey, @jedgarnaut.bsky.social, I recently bought some of your copper fittings...
He has such a good pulse on what people like, though! </sarcasm>
I will never give up the fight against the bane people call AI today. But. This made me lmao. The fact grok has "backtracked" since then just tells me someone tweaked it which is even funnier.
What does the study say about people who get angry every time they are forced to use AI like at drive-through ordering because the fucking thing can never understand my wife's order and has to get a person which takes 5 times as long as just having a human take my order?
Listening to this for no particular reason. April 26, 1992 by Sublime is up next.
