Dinner was a Mediterranean vibe tonight, one that Rick Stein would approve. A fish stew with sea bass, haddock, prawns and mussels, in a tomato and fish stock base with courgette, fennel, onions, capers and olives 👌🏼 #FishDish
The heat means Greek !! 🥵 Tonight, lamb meatballs, a mixture of lamb mince, breadcrumbs, feta, allspice, mint, oregano. Tomato sauce with oregano, added fresh tomatoes, parsley and a couscous with sundried tomatoes and a scattering of feta, lemon zest and roasted flaked almonds 👌🏼 🇬🇷

It might be an old 26” MTB and I did look at E-Bikes whilst thrashing around Grafham water and I was considering upgrading. But you know what? Stuff it, it’s 13 years old but it still does the job 😊 #MTB
My lad started a Tough Mudder yesterday at 12pm (in this heat 🥵), just checked, he’s covered 50 miles so far and it finishes at noon. What an achievement!!

An impromptu bbq last night, believe it or not, my fav thing about it was the salad. Watercress, red onion, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, artichoke hearts, olives, chillies all mixed up with lemon juice, seasoning and EV olive oil. I’m not turning veggie btw 😳

And in other news, 3 robins. I’ve never seen that before 😳 Ignore the pheasant, it’s metal. We had a pheasant coming in the garden so I found this metal one (on special at Dunelm because the tail was broke), for company but it never came back 😳 Are male pheasants not very social?
