A new one for me this week for #WildflowerHour Common Cudweed, in huge abundance in a Lincolnshire arable field margin. Thousands of saplings were planted here in January ‘25 unfortunately they are not doing so well, perhaps only 30% having survived.
An unusual moth visitor in our Lincolnshire garden just now, a Scarlet Tiger. Wonderful bright red hind wings which caught my attention as I looked out of the kitchen window. @savebutterflies.bsky.social
